I am in a book group that meets monthly and we call ourselves
"The Pageturners". We are all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Those that belong to this group are Darci E., Leslie F., Maria M., Mary Ellen N., Stephanie B., and myself.
We keep our group small
because we
occasionally
take field trips and we like to fit all in one vehicle. We've been together as a group for almost 15 years. This is a wonderful group of women
and we have been there to support each other over the years through good times and bad. Last night we had our annual Christmas party. Usually in December we don't read a book, but we still like to get together and celebrate with each other.
This is the one time of the year that our spouses join us for the evening. We have such a good time together. Good food, great conversation, and wonderful friends make a terrific evening.
Sorry this picture is a little blurry. We are all wearing the aprons that Leslie gave us this year. Her sister made them for us. We all look like we should be cooking up a storm. Thanks Leslie!
