Happy Birthday USA

Playing Catchphrase in the parking lot while waiting for the fireworks.

Wendy, Ashley, and Dani Allee with Celeste.

If Celeste is anywhere nearby, you can be sure that Daryn will be there too.

Playing Scum. I don't know why, but Elder Bevans and Elder Zaugg didn't want me to take their picture. It had something to do with what they were drinking. Go figure.

The Fourth of July is such a fun holiday. It really is like a huge birthday part for the country. We had a bbq at John and Diane's (our favorite gathering place). Joe's sister and her family are living there now and the missionaries serving in our ward (Elders Bevans and Zaugg) joined the festivities as well. After dinner most of us played Nerts and Scum in order to pass the time for the big event. Of course the evening ended with the watching of fireworks. We usually go to what the kids affectionately call the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. The building now houses National American University, but for a few years it was a Piggly Wiggly grocery store. Linda, Nathan, and Celeste joined us there. All in all I think everyone had a good time.
